This is when we reset and tackle wildly exciting domestic projects like our weekly trifecta of errands, laundry and cleaning, topped off with a dollop of email before returning work on Monday.
Today, we sweetened it up a bit with a trifecta of a different kind – three Sunday treats!
- Belgian Waffles: We got a Belgian waffle maker for our wedding and today seemed like a good day to break it in. Belgian waffles remind me of visiting my grandparents as a kid. Grandma Nancy was ahead of her time, and is likely still one of the only ladies in Muskogee, Oklahoma with a Belgian waffle iron… one of the many reasons why she is awesome.
- Nap: The best kind of Sunday treat.
- Apple Crisp: Thank you Betty! I halved this recipe and made a cute, mini apple crisp for the two of us. I love mini-anything, especially desserts. We only had steel cut oats which made it a bit crunchy, but still pretty delicious.
Hope your Sunday was filled with treats too!
