Mail call – our Goodies box arrived today!
We’ve been Goodies subscribers for several months, but the snacks usually disappear before I can capture evidence of their existence. For $7/month, Goodies will send you a Tasters Box full of new and exciting packaged food. This was made for people like us who wander down every aisle of the grocery store just to make sure we don’t miss anything. We like the box so much we signed up for their Kids Box too.
Surprise fact about Goodies – they’re owned by Walmart. Fascinating.
Here’s what we got this month:
-Fuji Red Apple Chips – yum! Apple chips seem like a good idea to me.
-Sundried tomato, basil and feta hummus chips – eh. There are so many other interesting chips out there… this was a little too rice-cakey for my taste.
-Attiki honey – yum! Lots of flavor and I got to pretend I was European for 30 seconds.
-Marshmallow Chocolates – yum! Fun idea, although I could easily do this myself by injecting a mallow with some Hershey’s.
-Licorice Scottie Dogs – OMG. For sure the cutest thing I’ve seen all day. I’m not a big black licorice fan, but these seemed good if you’re into that kind of thing.
We also received some lemon water and savory tea – I’m skeptical about both but we’ll see how they turn out.
